My 3 friends and I just returned from Brett’s Germany/Austria Highlights tour with Oktoberfest piggybacked onto it – truly the trip of a lifetime with a guide and a small group that felt like family by the end of it. The tour is so encompassing – you see, you learn, you play, you revel, you meet local people, you really feel a sense of belonging. Brett is a brilliant guide who is tremendously fun; he is also very sensitive to groups and to group needs. Because of Brett, I absolutely want to return and, because of him, I want to explore more. Traveling with Brett is one of the best things I’ve ever chosen to do.

Brett, I don’t know if we told you how much you made our dreams come true five years ago in Munich, but we are not done with Oktoberfest. The trip was absolutely magical. Beyond perfect! All we had to do was show up and you had all the details in order for our group. Now I get Oktoberfest fever every year and start figuring out how to make it happen. 2020? 2021? We’ll be back!!

[Excerpt from my Christmas letter to friends:] “I took one trip this year. Other excursions were planned but because of health issues, I cancelled a planned trip to the Holy Land. The trip I did take was exciting. I went to Germany and Austria with a very knowledgeable tour guide – Brett Harriman – who had worked for 5 years in Bavaria (southern Germany) as a tour guide for the U.S. military. The tour started in Frankfurt Germany (E.U. financial capital) and included the Middle Rhine valley with its many castles. We also visited an old town Rothenburg and the famous Neuschwanstein Castle in Fussen. From there we went to Salzburg, Austria and the surrounding area to visit Sound of Music film sites. Because of our guide’s knowledge, we were able to visit movie locations few people see.”

What an adventure! We thought we knew what to expect when we made our plans for Munich, Germany (Oktoberfest) and Salzburg, Austria, but Brett Harriman delivered so much more! Not only was the history fascinating, but Brett made the entire trip very accessible and he was extremely flexible for our group’s daily interests. Most importantly, there is so much in Europe to see and learn about and without Brett as our guide, we would have missed so much on our own. You truly don’t know what you don’t know when traveling. Thanks Brett for all that you did for us and we look forward to future travels with you! Chris & Rori, New Orleans, LA.

Brett Harriman has been my family’s tour guide twice now. His style and personality suited our’s perfectly. His knowledge of Europe is both broad and deep. He shares the same “be a traveler, not a tourist” ideal. Always authentic, good value for money, and you really only need mention your smallest want or interest to have it addressed promptly and entirely. I do not hesitate to suggest and fully recommend Brett Harriman and his services to you and all of my friends.

Brett Harriman was my tour guide in Austria more than a decade ago and found him to be a complete delight. I honestly have never met anyone so friendly, honest, fun and with such a sweeping knowledge of Europe. He has boundless energy and enthusiasm for travel in Europe, and above all, he wants everyone to be happy and have a wonderful time. One word: GO!
